Issue / Question:
- I don't have a printer in my delivery truck and need to configure my truck to make deliveries without requiring the printed ticket.
- I need to be able to shift in and make deliveries in Mobile Delivery without requiring a printer.
Environment:
- Cargas Energy 2024.07 and Later
Resolution / Answer:
For trucks equipped with LC Meters, you can now run Mobile Delivery without a printer.
NOTE:
- This feature is currently only available for trucks equipped with LC Meters.
- MID:COM E:Count and LCRiQ meters are not currently supported for this setup.
- Prior to completing this setup, your meter must be updated to the latest firmware to allow for a "No Printer" option to be selected. Please connect with your truck shop to complete this update.
- In the Mobile Delivery application, navigate to Menu > Setup > Edit Truck > Begin Setup
- Select your Meter and proceed to the Printer Option
- Select None on the Printer screen
- MID:COM E:Count and LCRiQ meters are not currently supported for this setup.
Additional Info:
With the No Printer option selected:
- End of Shift data, including ending totalizers, odometer readings, and engine hours, can be viewed from the Driver Shifts screen of the Delivery Center, or the Driver Shift Summary report in the back office
- You can still email a digital copy of the ticket to the customer
