How to setup LCR.iQ Internal Bluetooth Configuration

This article shows you the how to configure the LCR.iQ's internal Bluetooth for LCP communication to work with New Mobile Delivery. This is an alternative setup to Bluetooth serial adapters such as Parani's and Fireflies. Please know that you will not need to use a Lap Pad Adapter however, you will still need to run the LCR.iQ's  25pin serial communication cable to the cab of the truck for Printer Communication.

*Note* For Dual Meter LCR.iQ Network Setup: This configuration only needs to be done on the master meter which is typically Meter 1. But you can still also change the Bluetooth Broadcast Device Name on Meter 2 to something like "LCR-iQ Meter 2 Do Not Use" if desired.

Environment:

• Cargas Energy
• New Mobile Delivery
• Liquid Controls LCR.iQ register

Step 1:

1. Put the LCR.iQ in configuration mode. Here is an article that shows you how to. 
   How do I put the LCR iQ meter in configuration mode?
   
   
2. Use the OK & Arrow buttons to navigate to Setup Menu
   
   
   
3. Then Navigate to I/O Setup
   
   
   
4. Press the Right > Arrow button on the I/O Setup screen to navigate to screen (2/4).
   
   
   
5. Configure these settings below on the I/O Setup (2/4) screen.
   

   Bluetooth	Service	Timeout	Retries
   BT0:	LCP	500	1

   Bluetooth Mode:	LCP Mode
   Network Mode:	Station Mode
   Network Name: (optional)	Bluetooth Broadcast Device Name

   
6. Press the Apply Network when you are finished entering in the desired configurations.
   
   
   
7. This will apply all of the new Bluetooth changes to the LCR.iQ and complete configuration.
