Issue / Question:
- Brother PocketJet does not show up when trying to print.
- Brother PocketJet shows "This printer isn't available right now" message.

Resolution / Answer:
New Mobile Service does not handle printing. The app uses the operating system's print services. These issues with the Brother PocketJet are because the Brother Print Service Plugin does not automatically set the needed Android app permissions during install anymore likely due to an Android update. You must manually set the app permissions yourself.

- Just installed the Brother Print Service Plugin.
- Or you have the Brother Print Service Plugin installed and the tablet is paired to the printer but are trying to print from New Mobile Service and do not see the Brother PocketJet listed as a printer to print to.
- Or you have the Brother Print Service Plugin installed and the tablet is paired to the printer but you see the message "This printer isn't available right now".
Steps:
- First go to Android Settings > Apps > Brother Print Service Plugin
- Then select the app's Permissions
- Select the Nearby Devices permission under the not allowed section.
- Finally select the Allow for Nearby Devices Permission.
- Navigate back out and try printing again.
