This article will help you change the printer type on the LCR iQ meter.
- This is most often completed by a truck shop as it requires putting the meter in configuration mode.
- First, you will need to put the meter in configuration mode.
- Then, you will need to go to the Setup Menu. Use the arrows and OK button on the meter to navigate the menus.
- Then, go into the Register menu
- There are 4 screens in the Register menu. Use the Right & Left arrows to navigate through the screens. Printer Type is on screen 3.
- On screen 3 of the Register menu you will see the Printer Type setting. Make sure it is highlighted and press the OK button to edit it.
- Use the Up & Down arrows to navigate through the list of Printer Types and the OK button to select your printer. The list consist of:
Blaster
Datamax
Epson NewFontA - (*Note: This is used for Epson TM-T88 printers)
Epson NewFontB
Epson OldFontA - (*Note: This is used for Epson 295 Slip printers)
Epson OldFontB
Okidata ML184T - (*Note: This is not to be used with Zebra Printers*)
Zebra - (*Note: Use this for Zebra Printers*)
- You may need to power cycle the meter and printer to get them to connect.
