How Can I create a Unique Label for a Payment Profile on a Customer Account?

  • Cargas Energy 2023.07 or later

Resolution / Answer:

To add a Nickname to a payment profile on a customer account:

  • From a customer account, navigate to the AutoPay box and Click EDIT
  • Click on the Credit Card box:

  • From there enter a new payment profile or Click Actions > EDIT 
  • Then enter the label in the Nickname field on the profile

  • Click ADD
     
  • This Nickname will now show on the payment profile list:

  • The Nickname will also appear on the payment profile dropdown when creating a new payment:

Additional Info:

  • Profile Nicknames are strictly for adding label to payment records in Cargas Energy. These are not passed to the vault or gateway. They are also not used for verification of the Credit Card.
