How does the Projected Gallons column work in the Delivery Center

Question:

• Why is the Projected Gallons column blank in the delivery center? 
• Is the Proj Gal column in the delivery center the same as the Projected Delivery Gallons on the ticket preview?

Answer:

The Projected Gallons or "Proj Gal" column in the Delivery Center directly shows the tank's Projected Today amount based on that tank's Projection Data. 

This means that if a tank doesn't have projection data, like Scheduled tanks, and Non-projecting Will Call tanks, there's nothing to display, so the Proj Gal column will simply appear blank for that tank. This is because Proj Gal is calculated from a tank's usage history. Scheduled tanks aren't calculated this way, they're based on the delivery schedule instead. Some Will Call won't have this data unless usage tracking has been turned on for that tank (See Additional Info at the bottom for how Will Call tanks can use projections). 

The Projected Delivery Gallons field is not the same as the Proj Gal column, because the Projected Delivery Gallons field can pull from a variety of other sources, like a recent tank monitor reading or a delivery average even when the Proj Gal column is blank.

In cases where a tank isn't projecting, the Preset Gallons column is a good alternative, it reflects the gallon amount already set on the ticket, giving you an approximate amount expected to be delivered.
