Customers can enroll in budgets when the Budgets Page is enabled, they have no page restriction, and their tank is eligible. The “Budgets have not been enabled” message appears when the page is disabled or the Budget Availability Window has ended or not begun.

Enrolling in Budgets:
For customers to be able to enroll in budgets, the Budget Page must be enabled in Admin Portal > Settings > Menu Items > Enable Budgets Page. The customer may still be unable to access the page if the customer has a Budgets page restriction MyFuelPortal: Page Restrictions – Cargas Energy. If they are not restricted the customer can then enroll an eligible tank. An eligible tank is one that has yearly usage, and is not already on a budget or pricing plan
From the customer portal, budget enrollment is Budgets. The form walks through budget or pre-buy, tanks, service plans when that page is enabled and the customer has equipment, gallons, and review. On submit, MyFuelPortal records the agreement, takes payment when an amount is due, and creates the budget.
Budgets have not been enabled:
Customers may see the above message for two reasons. If the Enable Budgets Page is unchecked, or if today is outside the Budget Availability Window.
The Budget Availability Window can be configured in Admin Portal > Settings > Budget. Here you can set the Budget Availability Window Start Date, and Budget Availability Window End Date.
