Summary:
This article describes a manual "pump-and-print" procedure for LCRII registers as an emergency workaround or troubleshooting step — note these deliveries are not recorded by the system and gallons must be entered manually in the back office. Key steps: close the Mobile Delivery app or power off the tablet, clear the register, load a blank ticket, set the LCRII knob to RUN (toggle STOP→RUN if needed), pump fuel, then set the knob to PRINT to end and print the meter block; if it won’t run, check cables, power cycle the truck, and involve a mechanic if problems persist.
Issue / Question :
Environment:
- Delivery trucks using LCRII meters
Resolution / Answer:
To perform a manual delivery on an LCRII register:
- Fully close the Mobile Delivery application or turn off the tablet and wait one minute in order to ensure the integration is not running and there is no interference from the software.
- Ensure the register is cleared of any pending deliveries.
- Load a blank ticket in the printer
-
Flip the knob on the LCRII to the RUN position
- If the knob is already in RUN, flip it down to STOP and then back to RUN
- The register should now kick over and allow the driver to engage the meter and pump fuel
- Once the delivery is complete, flip the knob to PRINT to manually end the delivery and print a meter block
If the driver is unable to perform a pump and print delivery, then there are hardware or connectivity issues with the register or printer. The driver will need to check all cable connections and power cycle the truck but if issues persist the truck may need to be examined by a local mechanic.
