How do I set the printer type on a Neptune E4000 meter?

Answer:
Please follow the steps below to configure the printer type on a Neptune E4000 register. You will need to know the Supervisor password to enter into the setup menu.
- First navigate to the main menu. You can press Stop/Cancel button several times to back all the way out to the main menu.
- On the main menu use the Arrow > button to select Supervisor until it is flashing and press the Start/Enter button.

Enter in the Password by using the Arrow > and Arrow ^ buttons. Press Start/Enter when finished. The factory default password is 2000.

Navigate through the setup menu using the Arrow > button until you get to COM Ports and press the Start/Enter button.
- Use the Arrow > button to select Printer and then press the Start/Enter button.

Use the Arrow > button to select the printer you are connecting to and then press the Start/Enter button. Please use this table below to know which printer option to select.
Printer you are using Printer selection Epson TM-U295 Slip Printer Epson Epson TM-T88 Roll Printer Epson Zebra RW420/ZQ520/ZQ521 Epson Cognitive Blaster Printer Blaster
- On the first Baud Rate screen use the Arrow > button to select the More option and press the Start/Enter button.
- On the second Baud Rate screen use the Arrow > button to select 9600 and then press the Start/Enter button.
- On the Parity screen use the Arrow > button to select None and then press the Start/Enter button.
- On the Handshaking screen use the Arrow > button to select the None option and then press the Start/Enter button.
- You should be returned to the Com Ports screen and you have successfully setup the printer type on your Neptune E4000. Use the Stop/Cancel button to navigate back to to the main screen.
