My meter will not print when I switch the knob to print

Issue / Question :

  • I am trying to print a ticket after my delivery, but nothing is printing, what do I do ?
  • My meter is not printing anything when I switch the knob to print, what should I do?

Environment:

  • Mobile Delivery
  • Liquid Controls LCR-II Meter

Resolution / Answer:

If you are experiencing an error due to your meter not printing, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Try printing a calibration ticket. LCR-II - Print a Calibration Ticket
  • Try printing a shift ticket
  • Power cycle the truck and devices
  • Check the serial cables to make sure everything is plugged in.
  • Check to make sure everything is powered on
  • Swap out printer with a known working one to see if it is the printer
  • Swap out serial cables from printer to the meter
  • Possibly a truck or meter issue
  • Have a truck shop take a look

CAUSE:

  • If you are unable to print this is most likely a hard ware issue which will need seen by your truck shop.
