LCR-II - Clear Register of Pending Deliveries

Issue / Question :

  • This article will provide instructions on how to ensure that an LCR-II register is cleared of any active or pending delivery transactions.
  • This procedure is a useful troubleshooting step when attempting to diagnose problems such as being unable to shift in or start a new delivery.

Environment:

  • LCR-II

Resolution / Answer:

  1. Load a blank ticket into the printer if necessary.
  2. Flip the knob on the LCR-II register to the PRINT position. This should ALWAYS force something to print and will either be a meter block of a pending delivery or a duplicate meter block of the previous delivery.
  3. Once you have a printed meter block, flip the knob to the STOP position. Please note: Leave it on Stop until the next delivery is started in Mobile Delivery and you reach the 'Begin Fueling' screen.
  4. Load a blank ticket into the printer.
  5. The register should now be clear of any stuck delivery transactions and you can proceed with starting a new shift, delivery, etc.

If the above troubleshooting steps fail, please power down the truck/meter completely until the display on the LCR-II turns off. Then restore power to the truck/meter and repeat steps 1-5 above.

If issues persist, please try the following:

  1. Print a calibration ticket.
  2. Complete a manual pump and print delivery directly from the register.

If the above two steps fail and you cannot print a calibration ticket or complete a pump and print delivery, then this is a hardware level issue with the meter/printer and will need to be examined by your local truck shop.
