Issue:
- How do I set up a LCR-II register to work with Mobile Delivery?
-
This article will help you configure a single LCR-II register to communicate with the Mobile Delivery devices.
- This is most often completed by a truck shop as it requires opening the register.
Environment:
- Cargas Energy
Resolution / Answer:
- The default node setting from the factory is node 250 and you will need to know the specific node that your LCR-II is calibrated to so that it can be selected during truck setup.
- Please note that if you are running Old Mobile Delivery application on Windows devices, the node MUST be configured to node 1 as no other nodes will function with the old integration.
- Cargas does recommend changing all nodes to 1 as a best practice to keep consistent configuration and allow a smooth transition from Old Mobile Delivery application to New Mobile Delivery.
- You can change the node setting by using a Lap Pad or by using a computer with Liquid Controls EZComand software.
WARNING!!! Turn off or disconnect power to the LCR-II before opening up the register. Changing J10 Jumper or moving wires with the power on will ruin the LCR-II.
- After the node configuration, the register must have the J10 jumper set to the 485 position.
- On the older style LCR-II boards, this will correspond to the "UP" position.
- On the newer boards, the correct jumper position will be labeled B.
- This step is necessary to communicate with the Mobile Delivery tablets but will disable the use of an LC lap pad so please ensure all other truck calibration and configuration is completed before adjusting the jumper.
The LCR-II register must also meet the minimum firmware requirements to be compatible with Mobile Delivery. The minimum required software versions are:
- SR210 v4.13 or later (old board)
- SR260 v2 or later (new board)
